Monday Night Football Week 10: Washington at Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Eagles (8-0) will host the Washington Commanders (4-5) in a primetime battle on Monday Night Football. The Eagles will play in front of a roaring crowd at Lincoln Financial Field as they hope to stay undefeated. Meanwhile, the Commanders need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Philadelphia has won three straight games against Washington but failed to cover last week. This is the third week in a row the Eagles will be double digit point favorites. The Commanders are 4-5 and at the bottom of the NFC east, but they’ve been playing a lot better since Carson Wentz got injured and backup QB Taylor Heineken got the starting job. Let’s get into it.
10.5 is too many points for a Commanders team that has been playing better recently. Taylor Heineken is a better QB than Carson Wentz and I think everyone in that locker room knows it. The Commanders have gotten a lot better since losing to the eagles 24-8 in September and while the Eagles are still undefeated, I’m not sure they’ve become any better since that point. I also like the under in this game, the under is 29-13-1 in divisional matchups this year and I think this is going to be a low scoring ugly NFC East matchup with Washington essentially trying to keep their season alive.
Pick: Commanders +10.5 (-105) & Under 43.5 (-110)
